Happy Birthday Infinitus
Hey everyone and thanks for swinging by to wish us a happy Birthday... It's hard to believe it's a year on already; we've been so busy with everything to take it all in.
So without so much rambling, we decided to blog a short and sweet burst showing some of the MANY photos from the last year... As well as a never before seen pictures of the studio "BEFORE THE BUILD", a year ago today.
You'd hardly recognise the place today, although we do maintain a certain degree of creative mess!
When we first rocked up at the mill to look at the space, this is exactly what we walked into, but with a lot of hard work and some help from a small few, we turned it into the great place we have today.
If you've ever been to the studio, you'll know just how much work we did last year!
So, without further ado, thank you to Sue, Nick, Adam, Peter & Magdalena, whom without your help, would have taken us more than 4 weeks to transform this bomb-site into the brilliant studio we have today... Happy Birthday us!
Historical event at historical site
It was a lovely near-spring day and the birds were all chirping away... That is until Helen & Teresa joined us with the family at Shibden Hall...
For today was the pre wedding shoot for the soon to-be-wed couple. It's been a fair time coming but all the preparations are in place for their special day on the 29th of this month, the wedding decorations are sorted and the photographers (that's us) are getting ahead and picking our pitch... One of the first same-sex marriages in the country will taking place in Halifax, West Yorkshire between our good friends Helen & Teresa...
Wedding at Bagden Hall Hotel, Huddersfield
We love a fun wedding. There is no hesitation when we meet a great couple who enjoy a laugh and they want us to photograph their wedding day - of course we will! Jenny & David came to see us at the studio and we just knew they were our kind of client - we had a common sense of humour and ideas to make their special occasion memorable.
Pre Wedding Photography - Quarry Bank Mill, Manchester
We met Kerstin & Stephen at their wedding venue, Quarry Bank Mill in Manchester for their pre-wedding shoot. It's the first time we have shot a wedding at their venue so it was a great opportunity for us to get an idea of what we will have to work with on the day itself!
Casa Hotel Wedding - Kate & Elliot Wedding
Kate & Elliot had a beautiful crisp, bright day for their wedding in September and we started the day early with two photographers; one capturing the very calm bridal preparations and the other based with the groom and his party as they got ready for the day ahead.
Pre Wedding Photography, West Yorkshire
With just a few short weeks remaining before their big day it was time for Kate & Elliot's pre-wedding photo shoot. We appreciate that a lot of people dislike the thought of having their photograph taken especially when coupled with the events of their wedding day. A pre-wedding shoot gives you the chance to get used to the professional photographers before the wedding, and allows us to get to know our clients personalities a little more too!
Rachel & Dan - Dewsbury Baptist Church
Rachel & Daniel had a bright and sunny day, if a little breezy, for their wedding at Dewsbury Baptist Church. Rachel looked stunning in her dress standing in the sunshine, along with the rest of the bridal party. Daniel even had some input into their big day – a brass band at the front of the church played as guests arrived and then as the bride was escorted down the aisle by her father.
Sheffield Wedding Photography - Lucy & Andrew
After a day of absolute down pouring rain, the wedding day of Lucy & Andrew dawned bright and sunny, if a little windy! Our day with the couple started early in the morning at the bridal preparations, the excitement could be felt in the air but everything was calm and peaceful!
